Balance isn’t something we find once and keep forever—it’s a rhythm we return to, over and over again. Some weeks it comes easily, and others it feels like a dance with two left feet.
That’s why I’ve started giving myself ten minutes each week to pause, breathe, and ask five simple questions. It’s not about perfection. It’s about noticing. Realigning. Returning to myself, gently.
🌗 Weekly Balance Check-In (10 Minutes)
- What felt balanced last week?
A moment, a choice, a boundary, or a rhythm that felt just right. - Where did I feel off-centre or overwhelmed?
Be honest, but kind. Even one small moment is enough. - What restored me—energy, connection, stillness, joy?
Name one thing you’d like to repeat or protect this week. - What can I lighten or let go of?
A task, a thought, a pressure that isn’t serving you right now. - What is one small thing I will do to support my balance?
A boundary, a break, a kind word to yourself, a nourishing habit.
I like to finish with a closing thought:
Balance isn’t perfect stillness. It’s staying in motion without losing myself.
I love this practice because it grounds me, even when life feels a little wobbly. And it’s something you can keep entirely private—or share with a trusted friend each week for gentle accountability.
